I'm having some problems with this SATA controler:
It looks like small writes (updating the mbr) works ok,
but a larger write, such as a newfs, crashes the machine:
it stops after super-block backups (for fsck -b #) at :
it writes between 1 and 5 superblocks backups then it hangs there.
