Question relayd.conf

2009-11-23 Thread Murilo da Silva Ijanc
Hi,

I am trying to use the relayd as proxy server and I have a question, i
can use tables to make specific rules for particular group of clients?
like squid acl!!

Example:

relayd.conf

table example {192.168.0.2, 192.168.0.3}

table example1 {192.168.0.3, 192.168.0.4}

request header filter *sexy.com* from example
request header filter *youtube.com* from example1

??

regards, MuriloBSD

Atheros 5424 - Acer Aspire One

2009-10-14 Thread Murilo da Silva Ijanc
Hi.

I'm having trouble connecting to a wireless network. My card is an Atheros
AR5424! I do not see the networks, much less connect. The dmesg can speak
for me anymore.

 /etc/ppp/options

that file is used by pppd, not ppp.

 /etc/ppp/ppp.conf

this is the right one for the program you're using.

  .. 10 min . 20 min

this might be a problem with Van Jacobson header compression.
some devices don't support it correctly, and the usual symptom
is that ping/udp work but tcp fails.

you can try adding this to ppp.conf:

  disable vjcomp
  deny vjcomp

 does that help?

what happens when you do an nslookup(1) ?

Have you tried pppd(8)? Does that give you a different result?

 Thanks

Hi Xavier,

Look at this file: ppp.linkdown.sample it will be in /etc/ppp/

2008/7/15 Xavier Millihs-Lacroix [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

 Sometimes when I boot a soekris box (net5501) - OpenBSD 4.3, I didn't get
each times an ip address for the pppoe0 link.
This is a problem as I can connect to this box only remotely.
I didn't find on the documentation how to reconnect automatically if the
 link goes down.

 Any ideas ?
