Subject: HEADS UP: possible file system corruption in -current

Hi,

Mon Oct 17 I committed rev 1.28 of src/sys/sys/queue.h

The change consisted of making the queue.h macros more strict to catch
certain misuse of these macros.

This change was causing problem in uvm and softdep code which were not
noted during the testing period prior to comitting, and so was
backed out on Tue Oct 25 in rev 1.30.

If you are following -current, make sure you update and fsck all your
filesystems, inclusing those marked clean. The simplest way to do that
is boot in single user mode and run fsck -pf.

Probably fsck will find unreffed files and dirs, but it should be able
to deal with these.

New snapshots are available.

Sorry that this slipped through.

        -Otto
