This same card worked perfectly fine on a clean wifi channel up in the Canadian mountains where there was virtually no interference. Up there I got about 3MB/s transfer rates if I recall correctly. After some code inspection I've done recently I came to the conclusion that this problem might be due to the fact that our driver does not run the regular calibration routines which other OS drivers use. If someone looked into that it might help fix the known issues we have with these devices. There is calibration code in our driver already but most of it is not being called yet. And what's there now needs to be cross-checked with other OSs since there are probably bugs.
