Some reports show that the Minnowboard Max run fine (it run coreboot). Also, anyone know about the socppc port? The board suggested on site (the RouterBOARD RB600A) seems good for simple stuff, although, don't know about how advanced is this platform port...

I guess amd64 or other modern platform will also work as long as its small. Any suggestions for a low footprint (SoC) board that support gb nic and has good wifi support (ap mode and all)? Check out: http://www.pcengines.ch/ Also, lots of miniITX boards out there that may fit the bill, though
