the cardbus device of my laptop (Sony Corporation VGN-FS295XP) is
not being mapped and thus i'm unable to use it. i guess it's because
"The BIOS does not include the cardbus controllers in the PCI IRQ
routing table (...)".

the address given provides one with a "horrible hack", that
addresses the cardbus for an elder vaio modell manually. it should
not be hard to reproduce this, but i don't know where to fetch
the necessary address information. maybe you can provide a hint.
