I had some spare time and read some more manual pages and so I found rdist. I never heared about that tool and what I did read at the manpage sounds like a rsync replacement.
Because rdist is in the Base-System I would like to know about the detailed differences between rdist and rsync because the manpages did not helped to figure that out. Right now it sounds like there`s not that much difference between those 2 tools but propably I`m wrong. Kind regards, Sebastian
