Hi, I am trying to install 5.1 on a thinkpad x220 with the i386 image. The system freezes at boot and the last line of dmesg is scsibus2 at umass1: 2 targets, initiatior 0 I am booting from an external usb-CD drive and tried from all usb ports and the result was the same. Using a recent (5.2)

Hi Pau, Owner of a Thinkpad x220 here. As far as I can remember, my laptop does actually 'freeze' for a few minutes when booting from usb flash drive. This does not happen after installation. Please wait around 5-10 minutes or more, everything should work fine after that. Regards, Alex P.S.
