It looks like I finished this little helper script for testing smtpd filters, but forgot about it...
Anyway it can be found at http://www.pettijohn-web.com/new-filter-test.pl. Theres even a SHA512 file so you can make sure you got all the right bits in all the right spots.
I believe the documentation provided via `perldoc' should be sufficient, but if it isn't feel free to hit me up offlist. Hope it helps someone out there trying to get a filter/reporter working.
