Yep. I ended grabing a tarball from GitHub.
Which worked. My new (simple) conf seem to be ready :)

I don't think the smtpd version number coincides with openbsds release number. 
As an example smtpd 1.0.1 could go with openbsd 3.5. obviously those are just 
numbers for this example. Don't read anything into them.
