Hello,
This is our latest major release which holds some notable changes:
1- this is the first release that depends on LibreSSL
We spent the years trying to accomodate both LibreSSL and OpenSSL but it
does not work for us and it prevents us from moving towards libtls which
would help us
OpenSMTPD 6.4.0 has just been released.
OpenSMTPD is a FREE implementation of the SMTP protocol with some common
extensions. It allows ordinary machines to exchange e-mails with systems
speaking the SMTP protocol. It implements a fairly large part of RFC5321
and can already cover a large range
Still beating with real user delivery "5.2.4 error". What should I do to
have mail delivery working between real users registered on a mail server?

Emails from 'real' users (like u...@domain3.tld) to 'aliases' (like
alia...@domain.tld) works fine from outside and locally. I fixed it by
setting different machine name from domain[1-3].tld in /etc/myname.
Before that I have received "5.2.4 error" for aliased (virtuals) users
like for 'real'
I fetch some data from PGSQL database, please let me know if you need
any additional config files considering PGSQL tables.
There is no .forward file used since OpenSMTPd 6.0.
The same configuration (except syntax changes in smtpd.conf) works
perfectly for smtpd 6.0.
I actively use domain3.tld
Since /etc/myname changed to a different one from virtual domain name
used in OpenSMTPd mlmmj mailing lists work well, aliases work as it
should be too.
But I can't send mail to a users with 'real' mailboxes in the same
domain served by OpenSMTPd where aliased users present also.
For instance:
Found that "from local" doesn't match authenticated senders anymore.
match auth from any for any action "outbound"
solve the issue.

Solved. The problem was with /etc/myname which has the same name as one
of virtual domains used for smtpd.

Getting '550 Invalid recipient' every time when I try to send a message
to misc@opensmtpd.org list using OpenSMTPd 6.4.0 maked from OpenBSD
-current.
'An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:
Invalid recipient.
Please check the message recipient "misc@opensmtp

"from local" doesn't match authenticated senders any more.
You need another line at the bottom:
match auth from any to any action "dkim"

Try it temporarily without DKIM Matt;-
match anything that's not local to your "outbound" action.
On your mail server, do something like
Hello list,
I have decided to test out the latest version of OpenSMTPD and for the most
part it is working well. Incoming emails are handled properly. However, I
cannot send emails to anyone outside of my server and I am having trouble
determining why. Below is my smtpd.conf file:
pki mail cert
