Right, this is what I did as well. Tested. Works much better than the
previous config.
Any thoughts on monitoring the status of the ccd?

I'm missing the bootloader interaction with OpenBSD 4.2 installed on a
compact flash card in this alix2c3. With the most recent bios from PC
Engines 0.99. If I strike any keys ( like boot -s) during the time when
the boot prompt should appear the system will not boot. If I wait it
boots fine.
The serial console works correctly when the speed is set to 9600 bps.

Your configuration looks reasonable. You should upgrade to 6.0. You could
replace the local network range with 0.0.0.0/0 to limit the flow less.
I've found that config address with a range doesn't work as expected with
multiple clients. Below is an example of a working config using machine
certs
If you're doing pure certificate auth, not eap I think you need both
certs. They do need to be installed under the local computer account.
Install the CA cert in the trusted root CA store, put the machine cert in
the personal store. I also think it may be necessary to put the full
asn1_dn of the
certs with diffrent "names" just to

I played a bit with an ikev2 to connection to Azure. It wouldn't connect

issues in previous releases with multiple clients getting the same ip

10.1.2.4 can be in that range, it doesn't need to be though. The ip or
whatever you put there should be the CERT_CN. I like to make sure it'll

Maybe try a more open subnet in the from and to, at least for testing.
Something like this - from 0.0.0.0/0 to 0.0.0.0/0
