I would like to extend the hardware coverage of this port by

not have AViiON hardware and rely on other people for testing,
development will not progress very fast, and will hit on our nerves.
So if you have an unused AViiON machine in your Attic you have no real
use for, or if you know someone who wants to get rid of his... please
get in touch with me. This would definitely help this emerging port a
lot!

I saw just this:

Would it help if someone bought that board for you? Preferrably someone
living in the USA...

Alas, it's no use - first, the board without the backplane and power
supply is useless; second, this one is 88110-based, and there is still a
long road until 88110-based systems work.

This port is unique amongst all the OpenBSD ports, as it has
been written without access to the hardware it runs on. This
has been possible because, unlike modern hardware, these
machines used to come with enough hardware documentation to
allow the motivated programmer to write code for it.

It's not just astounding that you did this, and so quickly, but
why. I hope this isn't lost on the rest of the world, and look
forward to seeing some press about it. (If I'm not reading more
politics into this than are really there.)

Thanks, OpenBSD, for all your great work in both spheres.

Yes, with an older kernel.
