There is very little in the way of code documentation other than the code

I've begun to write a developers guide to Mixxx -- it's far from complete
but maybe it will help a little bit:

I would suggest joining our IRC
By the moment I'll use Bazaar explorer and Geany and will try more
complex IDEs when I have a bit more experience. I've read Mixxx wiki
and other Bazaar and Launchpad introductions and I've just branched
