Hi RJ,
this are good news!.
I am currently facing some Qt4 issues with my single touch branch
https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/76 that should be fixed fixed with
Qt5.
I am still working on a solution for Qt4 though.
Kind regards,
Daniel

That is nice news!
Btw, I have been lately experimenting quite a bit with QML and I am
totally amazed with the results. I have the feeling that it would be a
perfect candidate for a Mixxx new UI that is more dynamic and easier to
customize. Have you guys thought about this?

I'm pretty excited about the possibility for Mixxx 2.0 to be based on QML
-- Digia seems to be doing a good job supporting it and it would give us a
way forward to approaching mobile platforms as long as the performance is
good enough to support the waveforms.
danlin did some experiments with QML:
I just committed all the updates necessary to get Mixxx building on both
Qt4 and Qt5. Try it out -- to build for qt5 run 'scons qt5=1' with QTDIR
set to the path to your qt5 install (or use the qtdir scons flag).
This should not impact Qt4 builds meaningfully and we will support both Qt4
(>=4.6.0)
