AFAIK, RJ has setup build server to produce 1.12 packages for vivid and
willy and push them in the mixxx-betas ppa
https://launchpad.net/~mixxx/+archive/ubuntu/mixxxbetas [3]
you can use them on your ubuntu system like this :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxxbetas
sudo ap
I can't install that package in debian testing due to missing
dependencies. (packages libtab1c2a, libprotobuf-lite8 don't exists
anymore). It also doesn't work under ubuntu 15.04 because there
libprotobuf-lite8 has been replaced with libprotobug-lite9.
