Hi NImit, Mixxx currently already has a break (spin up/down) effect accessible form controller mappings. It would be nice, if we allow this to be used from GUI only setups as well.
New effects are always welcome. Mixxx allows already to make use of the beat timing. It would be nice to enable this for some effects in away the user can easily control it. Unfortunately all the proposed effect topics are IMHO hard to turn into a good GSoC project. It would be better to propose a project derived form one of our proposed projects.
