Last I checked Virtrualdub is only on windows.You could try running the
YUVStream through Mplayer, I believe it will playit, ( the yuvstream
uotput is broken in it as of rc3), and if it can play it it can convert
it(even RP).

Sorry I can't help. I don't know anything about the windows verison.
However, if they distributed the binaries they *must* make source code
available too. mjpegtools is release under the GPL...

If the things described in the Optimizing the stream doe not help
enougth you can also play (set a larger value) of the thresholds in
yuvmedianfilter -t -T. You might have to disable the chroma filter (-T
0) if you have a color shift.

I think I have read some messages on this list of persons creating DVDs
at linux.
My intention is to convert some DV raw captures (the marvellous Canopus ADVC-100)
to vobs and put them in DVDs, at linux.
