Hello, I'm new the list, since it isn't archived yet, I haven't been able to search it. Google didn't know anything, and my friends in #mplayer (some are quite knowledgeable about lavtools etc), couldn't help me either.
One one system I have (recently downgraded), I have mjpegtools custom compiled. I use glav to edit yv12 encoded .mov files created with streamer (from xawtv), and it works flawlessly (except the hardware is not suitable for recording purposes). I am now trying to get the same working on my laptop (minus the capture part). But when I give glav the file, it complains that the format is not supported ++: Unable to identify file (not a supported format - avi, quicktime). ++: **ERROR: [lavplay] Error opening macgyver-gx1.mov ++: lavtools version 1.6.1 lavtools was compiled with --with-dv-yv12, and everything seems to be supported in the output of configure, with the exception of movtar, which I don't use anyway. ./configure --with-dv-yv12 --with-quicktime=/usr/include/quicktime/ MJPEG tools 1.6.1 build configuration : - X86 Optimizations: - MMX/3DNow!/SSE enabled : true - cmov support enabled : true **************************************************************************** * NOTE: * * The resultant binaries will ***NOT*** run on a K6 or Pentium CPU * **************************************************************************** - video4linux recording/playback: true - software MJPEG playback : true - movtar playback/recording : false - Quicktime playback/recording : true - Quicktime source in : /usr/include/quicktime/ - AVI MJPEG playback/recording : true (always) - libDV (digital video) support : true (>= v0.9.5) - AVIFILE divx encoding support : true - Gtk+ support for glav : true - glibc support for >2GB files : true I have quicktime4linux version 1.3-5, on both systems. Both systems are Debian Woody, i386. mjpegtools compiled from source on both. Anyone got any ideas? This is really starting to annoy me. I have tried both 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 -- Cameron Kerr Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://nzgeeks.org/cameron/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
