you're perfectly correct. The input-file option also takes fully
qualified paths. It just takes the string and does not complain as long as
the path/file really exists. So no bug here.

On my Nuvi 200W and Garmin mobile XT it does not work.
Same thing on my Nuvi 200, and StreetPilot C330. It sounds like all the
StreetPilots and Nuvis act the same.

Yes, except that I will modify to take account of absolute paths and
check for the key 'input-file' instead of checking to see if the value
looks
