Re: [mkgmap-dev] Too many icons from tourism=information & information=route_marker
Hi Looking at common values for this, I'm going to have: tourism=information & ( information=office | information=visitor_centre | information=board | information=map ) {add name='${information}'} [0x4c00 resolution 24] I think it is bad that "points" does include 'inc/name' so early, hence inhibiting better setting of mkgmap:label:1. I've split it into name_early and name_late to give much better control. Hi Gerd, fyi www.openstreetmap.org only renders the following tourism = information AND information = guidepost information = audioguide information = board information ~ '(map|tactile_map)' information = office information = terminal All other occurences of "information=" or absence of "information=" is ignored Klind regards, Joris -Oorspronkelijk bericht- Van: mkgmap-dev Namens Gerd Petermann Verzonden: woensdag 17 augustus 2022 08:53 Aan: mkgmap-dev@lists.mkgmap.org.uk Onderwerp: [mkgmap-dev] Too many icons from tourism=information & information=route_marker Hi all, recently someone mapped lots of nodes like this: https://www.osm.org/node/9842107614 in my area. With the default style they are rendered as an info icon and the text from the operater tag "Wiehengebirgsverband Weser-Ems e.V." which is really useless info. The actual marker is a maybe 10*5 cm black sticker with a white "J", no further information. I think we should change the rule tourism=information [0x4c00 resolution 24] to tourism=information & information!=route_marker [0x4c00 resolution 24] so that these markers are not rendered. Or maybe set mkgmap:label1 to the ref so that they are less prominent?
