Hi Nick, sorry, you lost me. The messages say e.g. SEVERE (HGTReader): args\73902528.o5m: failed to get size for file N63W007.hgt from E:\hgt\faroes\N63W007.zip So mkgmap finds a file named E:\hgt\faroes\N63W007.zip but it cannot extract the corresponding *.hgt file. Please post one of the zip

Hi Nick, that is true, but the list is only used to suppress the message that a file was not found. What we see here is that it seems to find the file and doesn't like it. Can you reproduce the problem when you extract Faroe.zip somewhere else? If not, something is wrong in the original

Hi Gerd, Still,having issues. It only seems to happen with these hgt files, but they seem to have file sizes common to 3'' hgt files. Perhaps it has something to do with islands? For some reason it's looking for non existent hgt.zip files ... Have uploaded hgt files  etc  at

[mkgmap-dev] Missing housenumbers in search index?

Hi all, I noticed many missing housenumbers searching in the maps I am building (actually also with other maps retrieved from the web by other map providers). In this area for example number 20 is present but nearby numbers are missing: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/43.77845/12.89595 I
