I host mltframework.org out of my home. There were storms last night,
and I believe we lost power. I am out of town for the remainder of the
day, so things will be offline until about 13 hours from now.

*melt* command line works fine:
/usr/local/mltframework.org/mlt/bin/melt -profile dv_pal R0009178.mpg
in=100 out=100 -consumer avformat:R0009178.png s=128x72 vcodec=png f=image2
but program code sample do not work properly:
