the only intensity device with linux support is the pci-e version of
intensity pro ( which works fine with mlt )
unfortunatly the usb3 devices are not (yet??) supported for linux. i
am also hoping that they will be supported in the near future.

Bear in mind I have not tested it myself, but it uses the same API and
should work. Also, MLT provides no options for setting the I/O
connectors, but I think you can use the settings util
