When I tap (De)activate cards on the Android app, I can only see an
asterisk (*) in the list of tags and I'm unable to activate/deactivate
the synced tags, instead I have to do this through the desktop version and

On Android, you cannot deactivate tags, cards,... but only saved sets. So,
first create saved sets on your desktop.
