I guess you're talking about the text based log files, right?

I have noticed since turning on my laptop that all my cards have
somehow gone.
I have tried to restore my laptop to a previous date but still can't
bring them back.
Is there another way. There was around 2600 cards that I desperately
need back.

Thanks very much Peter ,
I did indeed find that mnemosyne had made a back up and was able to retrieve
all the cards up to that date.
