RE: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Unexpected error

2018-05-30 Thread Peter Bienstman
Hi,

First make sure to update Mnemosyne to the latest version. Then, compact your
database.

If you still have problems, feel free to send me the database privately.

Cheers,

Peter

Hello,

I experienced an unexpected error in Mnemosyne. After I choose the function
"Browse cards..." an error occurred. I attach a shot of error statement.

This happened after I created new clone card type from vocabulary.

Please, could you give me advice?

I assume this is with the Mac client? Devin, our Mac developer is working on

If it's on Windows, make sure you're on the last version and please send a

Just to make absolutely sure you're not picking up any old file from a
different system, try the following experiment

   mnemosyne --sync-server --web-server -d a_completely_new_and_empty_dir

In that case, Mnemosyne will create a new database and config in
 a_completely_new_and_empty_dir

Also feel free to run a find command on your entire filesytem and
delete any 'config', 'config.py' and 'config.db' files you can find.

Not sure what you mean by Python client, as all versions are based on

Does the problem go away if you only start a single instance?

If not, you can always try creating an empty file at
