It is possible that the updated FB is being downloaded but has not
finished yet. go to app store/update tab and see whether any fb update
is available.

Go into the app switcher and close the Facebook application. Try
opening the app after doing this.
If this doesn't work, then you'll probably have to delete the app and
install it again.
