Because most of them use skinned Android and not Stoke Android.
Skinned Android needs far greater customization than the stok version,
and so updates gets delayed. And the other reason is obvious, they
would rather produce a new handset wit hthe latest OS and encourage
people to shift to it rather
It mean, whether present handset will receive next update is in the
very hands of mobile manufacturer's, there seems no hardware
limitation for upgradation just like iPhone. Then why do these company
don't provide update as soon as it is available in the market?
