Re: [Mobile.AI] expecting some help from androyed users!!!
Just to respond to some of the questions. To deal with the first 2 issues, go to settings/accessibility. Both the option to make power button to end call, and enable accessibility shortcut are there. Doubletap to enable the same, you should be good to go. Ones accessibility shortcut is enabled, if you have to start TalkBack, press and hold power button for 3 seconds, then hold 2 fingers on the screen. You should hear a prompt to keep holding 2 fingers to enable accessibility. Continue to hold the 2 fingesrs on the screen till you hear the prompt accessibility enabled. Granularity refers to text navigation options, switch between word, line and character. This a slightly complex jesture for starters at times. First place the finger on the field you need to navigate. Then swipe up and then right in the same motion. After you hear an audio feedback, explore the screen in a circle, and lift your finger on change granularity. Again explore in a circle, and lift the finger on the option that you want enabled. Then swipe from left to right to navigate by whatever mode of granularity you chose, word, line, paragraph or character. Doubletapping and long pressing on a file should give you option to cut or copy it, and an easier way is to connect the phone to the PC and explore the files and sort it with windows explorer. You have to scroll down to find the options. You can scroll down by placing 2 fingers on the screen and move up. [Mobile.AI] problem in starting Moto G
Dear All, here goes my first query regarding using of Moto G: as i received the phone, i was able to activate talkback right at the first attempt but i had to shut the phone down due to no SIM and so on. the shut down perhaps was a bit forced, that is to say, that i held the power button for a long time to shut it down instead of double tapping on the power off option. now, when i am about to restart it, there is neither any display nor any vibration to let me know of its starting. please do give your valuable suggestion so that i can come out of the first problem i am having to face with this handset. warm greetings, Anirban Mukherjee Search for previous postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/mobile.accessindia@accessindia.org.in ___ Mobile.accessindia mailing list Mobile.accessindia@accessindia.org.in http://accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/mobile.accessindia_accessindia.org.in to post send mail to: mobile.accessindia@accessindia.org.in Disclaimer: 1. does granularity give accessibility for reading purpose only or something else too? I mean like editing options ETC. What, other thing except reading, can we do with this feature? -- From: Mahesh S.
