it comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat so it's bang up to date. The handset also has a few new features hidden away in its menus. He is the same man from the first photo zoomed in. / Sony Xperia Z1 46 While the outdoor shots perform pretty well, the low-light shots kind of kill the buzz and ruin the joy of an otherwise amazing 20.7-megapixel camera. Sony has loaded in Pixlr express and sketch, but in totality, you will feel at the end of the day that there is something holding back this camera from being professsional grade, which is what it should be ideally. Conclusion The Xperia Z1 builds on the success of the Xperia Z handset. It is endowed with a great display, superb graphics, an amazing battery and a great camera. But, the biggest competitor for the Sony Xperia Z1 is its own sibling - the Xperia Z, which has most of the same features except the camera, but comes at a much cheaper price. Since both these handsets were launched in the same year, both of them will compete with each other rather than aiming at different categories. The Sony Xperia Z1 is at the end of the day, a little too pricy at around 39-40K. If one is about to venture that high, a little more would get you attractive handsets such as the Nokia Lumia 1020, iPhone 5S and Note 3, which are also coming in clubbed with great deals. While the premium part is fulfilled when it comes to this handset, it is the pricing part that ultimately bogs it down. Hi, Lets answer a few questions people have been having trouble with. if you'd like to get to the dictation button directly, its located to the left of the spacebar just as a alt key would be on a standard qwerty keyboard for the pc's You can also, if you have activated an edit field double tap to start dictation and do the same again to end it. There isn't a way to lock the screen without pressing the lock button as far as I am aware,but than again I could be wrong. If you are in an app there is no way to go to the home screen either without the home button,but if you are on a different page,a 3 finger swipe from left to right or right to left will move you from one page to the other. To those who don't get the face anouncement in the camra app on IOS, make sure that the screen brightness is above 30%,the screen curtain is off and that you are actually aiming right.
