Friends

I am posting both on AI and Mobile.AI list.
This is a book reading app, which I suppose came default on IOS. It is fully
accessible and it has Table of Contents, bookmar, Note taking options etc.

Double Tab on the Library button and you will get a list of all books available
on your system
Double tab on the title to read it.
On the pages spinbox flick down to go to the next page and flick up to go to
the previous page.
Thereafter, flick left and the contents of that page would be read out.
Here, you can also flick 2 fingers down to read continuously. In some books, I
have seen it stop at the end of the chapter.

You can also do 2 finger rotar to select words, letters, heading etc.

I read a few books this way. There are practically no Indian books. However I
chanced on this title: Ancient Ballads and Legends of Hindustan by Toru Dutt.

There were a few surprises for me. Very strangely, I don't recall hearing about
her in the past. She is the first Indian poetess to have written in English. It
was very surprising a quality work of such great stature is in wilderness.

This title is also available in Project gutenburg and the link for it is:

http://www.gutenberg.org/files/23245/23245-h/23245-h.htm

The vikipedia info on her is at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toru_Dutt

The default TTS on IOS read it beautifully using the correct pauses. One can
reduce the speech rate to enjoy it better.

I would urge all AI members to read it.
