Hello Sir,

Firstly, many congratulations for getting IPhone.
Below are the steps you can follow, (Taken from internet)
I am not using IPhone , so not sure if there could be a better way
than as what given in the below steps.
Things you need:
 Nokia mobile phone with memory card
 Computer with iTunes.
 iPhone
First On Nokia phone
1. Nokia: Go to contacts/ phonebook
2. Nokia: Select all contacts
3. Nokia: Option save contacts
4. Nokia: Select destination as memory card
5. Plug in your nokia phone to computer in data transfer mode.
6. Browse through your Nokia memory card and open /Others/ folder
7. Open ‘contacts’ folder placed in memory card/Others/contact
8. Select All contacts and copy-paste them in ‘windows contact’.
9. Windows contacts, (known as windows Address Book in Windows XP) can
be found in C:\Users\Logged-in-user\Contacts\ or you can click win
logo or press win key and type ‘contacts’ in search slot windows
start.
10. Plug in iPhone to the computer.
11. Open iTunes, if it doesn’t pop up automatically.
12. Select iPhone in iTunes and open ‘info’ tab
13. check/ mark/tick ‘sync contacts with ‘windows contacts’ (choose
from dropdown menu)
14. press ‘sync’ button.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Transferring contacts from Nokia to I Phone

2013-04-04 Thread ankit.jindal2
Transfer all you contact to MS outlook. You can check the Google on how to
transfer from Nokia to MS outlook using Nokia software.

Another simpler but long way is You can copy to Outlook directly by opening
the Contacts folder in Windows Explorer. Copy the contacts files. Open MS
Outlook. Got Contacts by pressing Ctrl +3. Paste the contact. The only flipside
of this process is that when you paste it in outlook contact section, the
contact so being pasted opens by default. You need to individually save close
each contact by pressing Alt+S. By doing so, you will be also saved the
business cards with email and other infos. After this you wil be able Sync
with I-tunes. In Info tab in I-tunes, it gives you an option to sync from
outlook. It is very quick and is pretty efficient.

 Dear Jaan Ali,

If i am not wrong you will have to use the transfer from sim card
only. you need to copy the contacts to sim card and then import sym
contacts, there is hardly any other way to import contacts in Iphone,
or you can Sync contacts from your PC. this needs a fresh and clean
address book in the PC. If you find any other way please tell me too.

2013-04-03 Thread Aaruni Sharma
hello, there is an app which works on all major platforms called
phonecopy. once you install it on your nokia, create a username and
password. then the app will back up all the contacts to the server.
you can then install the app on your iPhone and log in using the user
name and password created earlier. This will transfer the contacts
onto your apple device.
visit
www.phonecopy.com
for more details.

hello, there is an app which works on all major platforms called
phonecopy. once you install it on your nokia, create a username and
password. then the app will back up all the contacts to the server.
you can then install the app on your iPhone and log in using the user
name and password created earlier. This will transfer the contacts
onto your apple device.
visit
www.phonecopy.com
for more details.

Dear Jaan Ali,

If i am not wrong you will have to use the
transfer from sim card only. you need to copy the contacts to sim card
and then import sym contacts, there is hardly any other way to import
contacts in Iphone, or you can Sync contacts from your PC. this needs a
fresh and clean address book in the PC. If you find any other way please
tell me too.

Kiran
