Hi,
When in edit field, and selecting navigation settings as words, lines,
paragraphs, etc, and then using volume keys, would navigate that way but when
outside of an edit field, swiping left/right only would work.

Just to reitterate, the Gramularity is known as “Navigation setting” in latest
Talkback. One can set swipe up/down for moving to previous/next navigation
setting in Talkback settings>Manage Gestures. Now, when you swipe up/down,
you’ll be able to change the navigation behaviour to Carachter,

In order to move by carechter, word, line, or Paragraph, first, you would need
to set the gramularity to the desired option. I’ve tested this and works fine
on my MotoG2 with LP 5.02 with TB 4.4 Beta1.
