visually challenged to come together and learn new ideas and witness 
practically the digirtal world.

The trust cordially invites you all for the awareness workshop on cashless 
economy and digital payments for the persons with vision impairment.
On 25 and 26 March 2017.
the venue would be premises of Snehadeep # 36 Charles Campbell Road, Cox Town 
Bangaluru

Eminent personalities with experts would be taking practical sessions to 
demonstrate the new apps and impart knowledge.

Background:
After the demonitization by the Indian Government, the digital payments' 
service is gaining swift grounds in India. The India is slowly embracing 
cashless economy. Because of this, the mobile wallets, internet Banking, 
Card-based (both credit and ATM-cum-Debit cards), Innovative systems like 
M-Visa, Unified payments interface (UPI); all other e-wallets/m-wallets play a 
major role.
In this scenario, it is very important to adopt ourselves into the change. Some 
of us may have some reservations/inhibitions in using the alternate payments 
method because various reasons such as security concerns, concerns with regards 
to the accessibility of various digital payments' platforms such as mobile 
wallets, net banking, etc.
This workshop is intended to ward off such fear/inhibitions and educate the 
people; and attempt to resolve the problems faced by people while using the 
above said channels.

Prerequisits: No major requirements. Interest to learn.
And persons having android phones and I phones.

The outline of the workshop (topics for discussion) is as follows.

 Introduction to alternate/digital payment system:
 1.      What is digital/alternative payment system?
 2.      Why digital payments?

 Types of digital payments:
 1.      Internet Banking.
 2.      Credit/debit/prepaid/gift cards.
 3.      Mobile wallets.
 4.      Unified payments interface (UPI).

 Misc:
 1.      Advantages and limitations of digital payments.
 2.      Explanation of Talking ATM with recorded demo.
 3.      Explanation of mobile wallet with demo.
 4.      Experience sharing/Interactive session (Q&A)

Key takeaways of the programs:
Confidence in using the digital payments' system. Knowledge about various modes 
and terminologies of the alternate payments. Help in setting up and using 
various payment methods.
