FWIW..Looks like you are trying to build from the ports collection. I have
several FreeBSD 3.3, 3.2 & 3.1 boxes and I built every modperl/apache from
sources without a problem. As good as the FreeBSD ports are, I highly
reccomend getting the sources and compiling from scratch. The Apache and

Hmmm... I cannot give you an exact answer, but I can tell you this. I am
running FreeBSD 3.3, and I was noticing really weird compile problems until
I went up to gcc 2.9.2. The initial version of Perl installed on my machine
was the one that you can install from the FreeBSD ports collection,
I try to compile modper in FreeBSD but when I execute make, it's
generate the next error:
