IIRC we did that because otherwise it won't wrap if it gets too long.
Change can be done in the theme (CSS or modernized.py).

I run Moin 1.8.2 in a W2K3/IIS6 box. In my navigator (modernized scheme)
subpages are separated by "/ " instead of "/" -- how can I change this?
