Tried from git, using the 4.6.0.245 tag and it
worked flawlessly :-)

I just downloaded https://github.com/mono/mono/archive/mono-4.6.0.245.tar.gz
and ran configure and make.
I got this:

I might be doing something wrong. All I did was configure and
make.
I tried before from the 4.6 branch, no luck, master, no luck
either (different errors, didn't go as far as the tar.gz). I'm
going to retry from the tag now.

(I'm using "bananapi" not raspberry. It is like a raspberry but
with SATA :P).
