I've no idea where Novell host moonlight packages, but moonlight was
targeting Silverlight 4. If you can find the old builds from May 2011
you'll have the most likely chance of it working. However do bear in mind
that full support for SL 4 was never completed.

I am running fedora-core 13 x86_64 with the following mono rpms
gnu-free-mono-fonts-20090104-12.fc13.noarch
mono-wcf-2.6.4-1.fc13.x86_64
mono-extras-2.6.4-1.fc13.x86_64
mono-basic-devel-2.6.2-1.fc13.x86_64
liberation-mono-fonts-1.06.0.20100721-1.fc13.noarch
You need moonlight, not mono.

I have down loaded and installed the latest stable moonlight plug-in
Novell moonlight 2.4.1.
On reboot of firefox 3.6.17, the preference are greyed out, so they cannot be
set and the web
page does not display properly.
Any suggestions?

The mono RPMs shouldn't interfere with moonlight. But remove them if
you want. What's most likely going on is this is a Silverlight 4.0
site where, IIRC, moonlight only supports up to 3.0. If that's the
case then you're pretty much dead in the water.
Can someone confirm the versions?

How would I confirm the versions?

I was asking the Mono team if they could confirm what version of SL
that moonlight can run. I'm quite certain it's = 3.0. As for
ritzpix, short of downloading the xap, unzipping it and inspecting the
assemblies (or manifest, the version may be in there), I don't believe
there's any direct way to
