SAP DB was/is the DB running SAP/R3, and was release as open source. It has subsequently been renamed Max DB. It is targeted a high-end enterprise systems. http://www.sapdb.org/ http://www.mysql.com/products/maxdb/ It has a very good reputation, although I don't know anybody with first hard experience to share, nor have a compared it's features against DB2, M$ SQL or Oracle. ---===--- Guy Langston - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Senior Software Architect [ http://www.langston.org.za/~guy/blog/ ] This email is sent subject to a disclaimer available at http://www.jamwarehouse.com/about_us/EmailDisclaimer/ _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
