David,
Have you looked at the apache error log to see if there's anything there
corresponding to when your apps hang?

Jesse,
Some additional information might be helpful, such as OS (linux distro if
applicable) and version, what version of mono you're using, how it was
installed, are you using Apache with mod_mono or xsp, maybe your site
configuration and web.config.
There are quite a bit of variables
Garrett,
Are both sites getting 503 errors, or just your mono site? Could you post the
configuration of your virtual host(s)?

Harsh,
The rpm for xsp 1.0.6 and mod_mono 1.0.6 have dependencies on the other
several other 1.0.6 packages. You can however get by this by using the
--nodeps switch with rpm. So you would do this:
rpm -ivh --nodeps xsp-1.0.6-1.novell.8.1.i586.rpm
mod_mono-1.0.6-1.novell.8.1.i586.rpm
Regards,
Gonzalo,
Thanks for the reply. I have 4 apps running in production as virtual hosts.
If I can't put the mono configuration directives in there, then where can I
put them? The directives I'm using for each VirtualHost are:
Here is one of my vhosts as an example
NameVirtualHost 65.64.105.147
suggestions as to figure out why mod_mono is not spawning
mod-mono-server.exe and processing the pages whould be greatly appreciated.

for me it was easy
to reproduce (all with files that install with MONO).
I'd still like feedback from anyone who has an idea on what to do to move to
a newer release.

I know mod_mono is a bit behind the core release of mono in terms of
maturity, however there is an issue I've come across that I'd like to
find a way to resolve, or at least find a best practice to handle it.

If somebody could fix this and post a notice to the fix, I would greatly
