My Monotone 0.45 and Botan 1.8.7 ports for OpenBSD 4.5-release can
be found from:
 http://iki.fi/tero.koskinen/monotone/botan-1.8.7-port-v1.tar.gz
and
 http://iki.fi/tero.koskinen/monotone/monotone-0.45-port-v1.tar.gz

They are not official or anything, but work for me.

Botan is compiled without threading support. (Just in case you
want to use it with other software also.)

It turns out 'scp -p' preserves the permissions, and setting them
first in cygwin works. I've added that to win32/README for next time.

Thanks for packaging.

I've fixed the permissions and it should be downloadable now. You can
also use a client like WinSCP to upload the binary, which additionally
allows you to edit access rights of uploaded files.

Thomas.

I've uploaded the MinGW build of this, but the website is giving me a
permission error on download.

I did scp it back from the server, and test that the installer works.

[Monotone-devel] [ANNOUNCE] monotone 0.45 released

2009-09-11 Thread Thomas Keller

Hello!

The monotone project is proud to announce the release of version 0.45 of
its version control software.

The most important change in this release is that keys are no longer
identified by their name, but by their unique hash, which makes the
handling of lost private keys in bigger projects much easier. We all owe
Timothy Brownawell a big time for his tremendous work here - thank you!

Please read the NEWS file for a complete list of changes. Please note
that the key change requires the migration of older database. While the
netsync protocol was also updated, we ensured full compatibility between
old clients and new servers and vice versa.

The new version can be downloaded at the usual location:

http://monotone.ca

Binary packages are posted there as they come in.

Thanks for reading and have fun,
- Thomas.
