John,
I have some stills from Castle of the Living Dead. The only clues I can
come up with are:
- Christopher Lee is definitely in the film
- A few of the stills have CLD in the lower right hand corner -
those do not have anything else on them
- A couple more

hey lenny...
i think it would be best to place the still between some protective
paper or other material and then place a heavy book such as a
dictionary on it... i'm no expert but, to me, to spray water on the
back of a still?? doesnt seem like the smart thing to do. is this an

Afternoon everyone,
I am selling the following, please let me know at mikedavi...@hotmail.com if
you have any interest.
You Only Live Twice (volcano) 40x60 (fine condition)
Raiders of Lost Ark R82 30x40 (VF, slight edge wear, some scuffs on top left
border due to misprint)

Water on a still is fine. The still will have been through probably 3 water
baths during the developing process. The water won't do anything. It'll just
make the flattening process go a lot faster. A heat press would probably work
wonders. Other than that, a lot of weight on top...

if you get a chance come check out our archive. We have over 250,000 vintage

Here's an interesting thought for all you stills collectors out there...
I haven't printed my own photos in about a decade, but here's the story as I
remember it: There are basically 2 different types of photographic paper -
resin-coated and fibre-based (RC FB). The RC paper is nice and
Hey Bob -- that's great info as usual. This is a dumb question on my part, but
for those of us encountering this issue for the first time -- does fiber-based
photo paper have a texture to them like the studio/professional stills your
parents made you sit for in a family photo? I guess I'm
Hey David, et al:
Hmmm, let's see... Because of the curl, most fibre-based prints get mounted
(dry or archivally), so you almost never see any by themselves (that's why
almost every art-photo you see has been mounted and signed on the matte).
Unfortunately, I just moved and all my posters
looking for animation cells, and please not the signed and numbered mass market
stuff.

The fourth and the third fragment appear to be from the 1936 Universal

1) you go to the stars (try carole holland)
2) scroll down and add a name of another person (try tom pace)
3) check both stars on the next page see what joint ventures they have don

imdb is not the only source for finding materials, rich..
also, because imdb is maintained by the individuals, actors, writers,
directors, prod companies, etc... it is possible for projects to have
slipped thru the cracks.. especially on what appears to be a real
stinker like this..lol
Well in dollar value terms, they are going to be worth something, perhaps.
But in terms of pieces of unique film exhibition history, they certainly
should be preserved.

But can you be a bit more specific about what you are looking for?

Well, I understand the meaning, I guess. Still a weird expression: free
admission to anyone born. Does that sound like normal English to you?
Some no longer functional colloquialism? (Plus it's highly discriminatory -
against people who haven't been born, that is.)
