The handwriting is light but can still make it out enough to see it is NOT the handwriting of Judy Garland. Maybe someone else named "Dorothy". I have a number of contracts and personal checks that she signed and a couple vintage signed photos one of which came from her Godson.

I sent him a message regarding this. I did some online research and found
several examples of Judy Garlands handwriting. Since I noticed they were not
the same as that shown I just was courious if he was stating that it was
actually written and signed by Judy as Dorothy. Gosh, what a
Am I being dense in thinking that if Judy Garland had autographed the
poster that she would have signed it Judy and not Dorothy? Duh...
Also the border of this original poster was conveniently trimmed to
cut off any identifying markings of the company that reproduced it.
I might accept that

I have a few posters on EBAY that are consigned by an individual who

JR,
In 30 years colelcting vintage Hollywood autographs I have NEVER seen her sign "Dorothy". About 7-8 years ago there was a forger (pretty skilled) on eBay selling autographed OZ books. He would pick up the old Oz books and trace the signatures from an authentic Oz book sold by RR in 2000 for

That's s standard response from eBay forgers and sellers of forgeries. The Blanant forgers get really nasty and vulgar, but then again what would you expect from someone with no conscience committing a felony.

Was just reading the Dean Martin Wiki that mentions his refusal to return to
filming Something's Got to Give unless they re-hired Marilyn Monroe. there

I remember a few years ago someone was selling a lobby card set from the

not sure if I remember what happened exactly, but I think the seller pulled
the auction only never to be heard from again.

Correct Dave - it was an altered lobby card from Marilyn and is the only

This kind of reminds me of the dream lobby scene cards that were offered

Tell you what, Kevin. Let's make a deal. In the spirit of this holiday
season of giving, If you are sucessful in winning the KONG hair in the upcoming
auction, I will trade you the KONG hair for my authentically signed BY Santa
SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS 1 sheet.
Fair enough?
MessageWell, if your insert for INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS is indeed
authentically signed by the Body Snatchers themselves, it certainly has much
greater value than one I saw signed by
Kevin McCarthy!

chest that Ms. Wray preserved for 75 years in a ziplock bag.A red flag
raises for me: Did they have ziplock 75 years ago?
