i too was surprised at the hammer price for the 'Anna Christie' OS, and was
ready to chase it since i don't recall it ever being auctioned, and was in love
with the poster since the first time i saw in in the MGM poster book.

Going to temper what I said about faded posters slightly.
I really wouldn't be adverse to owning one great Universal horror card.
If it was slightly faded, I think I could live with that, given age
and rarity.
And for me, given the subject matter, I don't think that slightly
greenish hue
The Most Dangerous Game half sheet did well didn't it?
Prefer the Window card personally.
And, frightening what value that would suggest on the awesome 1 sheet.
