Yep, I really don't like signed posters as a rule.
Signed books, by author, different matter.
Only autograph I'd really like, (and not on a poster) is Hitchcock's,
but that's more a logo, a mini work of art.
Though, doubt I'll bother, too many fakes out there.

perhaps jimmy stewart signing Vertigo, or bette signing The Letter, or Gloria
signing Sunset Boulevard, or Bogart signing

On the whole my experience has shown a rousing success with autographs that
I either attained in person or the provenance is all but irrefutable.
Best example CITIZEN KANE insert folded signed by Orson Welles I sold for
$7500. Two weeks later a mint unrestored insert at Heritage
/printer generated---DAMN, DAMN, DAMN

$9500.00
I have not seen another one sheet signed by Stewart; doesn't mean
that there isn't one -- I just have not seen it.

any thoughts on the Nostagia Merchant series - they had studo logo posters -
MGM, Republic, Fox - all signed by many of the stars of the
studios - then some individuals - Buster Crabb, Roy Rogers, mae west etc -
any market for these?

They were sold in the back of Hollywood tudio magazine in the 80s there

10 diff o more.. and they looked good... I think they sold for like 150.00

Earl Now heres a mopo exclusive true story... I was in La in
1976 and had submited my record to Snuff Garrett
and when I called there. I could hear them playing my record in the
back.. Now is that a small world or what...
and if memory serves me well they produced

I recently got to know Barbara Steele - so I figured I'd gather all my
Steele goodies and get her to autograph them. Sounds like from what
