I looked at the AFI catalog of US films for the decades 1920 and 1930.
The genre Western lists 1300 for the decade 1920 and 5604 for the decade
1930. It seems clear that no one would know how many posters exist for
those films. I purposely picked a very common genre. Now suppose I
collected Ho

In getting ready for the Columbus Ohio show I found the 14 missing
movie posters I had thought were stolen. I called the police and had a
good laugh with the detective who was working on the case and my
insurance company to report that the posters were here after all. So no
