i just cancelled my snipe bid on this one: it is so clear that the first
bidder of last week wants it desperately:
http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsitem=300373120387ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:BIDN
i am posting this to MOPO with 1 hour and 13 minutes to go with the bid at
197.50
Can't figure that one. Note the guy who scared you off actually dropped
out at 195.00, but that two other people got into fighting over it and
it finished off at a whopping $432.10! That's an awful lot for this
particular poster. The bidders might have had some kind of personal
connection with
this dealer means
browning or darkening. FRANC

I don't know if it's real or not, but it looks enough like the real deal
that I might have gambled 35 bucks.
Patina was an incorrect attempt to describe the surface appearance of
the paper, methinks.
Once in a great while, one gets lucky on an item like this. If it seems
too good to be

I thought my auction descriptions were long! Is this a good sales technique?

Quite amusing, not badly written.
It's not taking itself too seriously, nice over the top spoof of the
overly earnest long winded sales pitch.
References to sale prices can't harm.
But, that said doesn't achieve the impossible, didn't want to buy
before, still don't want to.
Cheers,
Rich
I like your crazy sales pitch too Bruce, yours are satire too, right?
But of course!
