We have had discussions about "reserve auctions" on ebay.
We have had discussions about sellers who make their auctions "private
auctions".
Now we have sellers who make their auctions private and couple it with a
reserve. I will not chase reserves. I either track it or bid very low to
track
Here is a question for the group. Do you bid against reserves?
I personally will not chase reserve prices. I will place a low bid that I
know will not meet the reserve and then snipe at the end. However,I
cannot understand the reason for them. Why not put a starting price on the
poster and

You are beating a dead horse. A person who uses his language, denies
being a dealer, yet listing 180 posters in a few weeks, trying to solicit bids
for a photocopy poster by disclaiming it but listing it as original, holding
payment and items long enough to prevent a claim on Paypal,
Another poster on ebay, only this time top and bottom cut. Called original but a disclaimer about a possible portal poster. Please note, the seller does not give the size - most likely deliberately.
Another attempt to catch the unwary or ...Is It Real (joke)

What is so tragic is that he has plenty of time to read mopo emails, to
respond to them and many responses at that. But it takes him 58 days to
mail a poster with a minimum time of 30 days.
What is most incredible is that even with his description, detailing a
horrendous mailing
has increasedthanks to
his tax cuts, but I would gladly give it back to be rid of him so all people
could share in the wealth. Mentioning so frequently in your post
that he is gone in 2008 is meaningless. He can do a lot of damage to this
country in many ways between now and then.

Interesting that the New York Times reviewer panned it this morning. I did not see it but this shows that you must see for yourself. Claude

There is nothing different except for one thing. I seem to have a
problem here with interpretation of my question. I find nothing wrong with
buying low and selling high. I find nothing wrong with David making a
fortune if someone decides to sell him an original Frankenstein one sheet
I think you misinterpreted what I was getting at. JR is
correct. Neither JR nor I want to deny anyone the right to make money and
frankly I admire people who can make money. When I asked the question I
was alluding to the following: Here Dave was telling MoPo members to
