Eight to a set is the most common number by far. Some may have 4 or 10 or 12
but the overwhelming majority is 8.
Sometimes the cards are numbered (1, 2, 3 etc) but not always. This would

I doagree with you that if one has something to compare to, then determination can be much easier.
However, I have to disagree about the artificially "aging" aspect. Pinholes, creases, wrinkles etc. can be INDICATORS of age. But they are not reflecting "aging",they are reflecting "handling".
To quote "It can get humid in the summer, as long as its dry in the winter."
I have to argue this point. Fluctuations of tempertaureand humiditywill adversely affect paper (I DIDspecify that in previous post).
Put a piece of any paper in the condition that the heat and humidity will fluctuate
ot; when it comes to movie paper. But that's just me.
The point was, as I mentioned before, that with a little practice and experience you can tell genuine old paper from a reproduction when you hold it in your hand and compare it to authentic paper of the same vintage.

Literally as long as I remember I was a fan of horror/sci-fi and mystery films.
Boston TV in the 50s had some real revelations like Shock Theater and the
various Creature Feature type shows. I always wanted to collect movies but the
idea of a of film cans or

black light form mustard to post 1950 white paper to antifreeze and on and on.

Why not just announce the end date in your "Ending"statement. We can have
slightly different perceptions of what "ending" means, and if I open an "Ending
Soon" and see it is even a week away I tend to get a titch irritated, and
irritated customers are not happy customers.
